Season 2

As a cool forensics expert with killer instincts.. Dexter's got it made! — but due to the recent tragedies, he is getting too much recognition than he can handle.

A still-shaken Dexter continues stalking the monstrous Little Chino, while Debra still struggles in her recovery.

Dexter's mysterious late-night activities attract the wrong kind of attention from Rita, who's convinced that he might have a strong addiction with drugs.

To appease Rita, Dex gets a drug sponsor — who proves too attractive for her comfort. Meanwhile, he tries shaking off the tenacious Lundy.

Dexter gets the surprise of his life when he learns that one of his mother's murderers is alive and still in Florida.

Inspired by the work of The Bay Harbor Butcher, a copycat vigilante has started dishing out his brand of harsh justice, and Dexter isn't happy. In the meanwhile, Dexter must also destroy an incriminating surveillance video.

Dexter manages to get Doakes off his back. He devises a plan to get the police in another direction. Lila and Dex's relationship intensifies, and he has some interaction with Rita and the kids.

Lila's growing attachment is enough to put Dexter off the recovery process, and he decides it's time to confront the man who killed his mother again.

Lila's fatal attraction for Dexter is about to boil over, but he already has his hands full trying to stay ahead of his sister and Lundy.

Dexter turns the tables on Doakes, but the triumph is short-lived when the sergeant reveals a lifechanging secret that shakes his foundation.

Dexter must make a massive decision that will have an effect on all those he holds close. Lila meanwhile is back with a secret to blackmail Dexter.

Special Agent Lundy and the FBI finally settle the case of the Bay Harbor Butcher, but the heat's not entirely off Dexter as the flames literally close in.
