Gemma tries to reconnect with the girls from school after a chance encounter with Cherry. Malcolm is encouraged to find a normal friend after Derek introduces him to close-up magic.

After receiving dodgy life advice from those around her, Gemma enlists Cherry to help find a potential father for her unborn child. Meanwhile, Malcolm finds love with a woman online.

Gemma tries birthing classes but resorts to asking her aunt Jess for advice. Malcolm and Gemma get invited to Jess and Tyrone’s hot tub party, but Malcolm is scared of hot tubs!

Gemma bumps into an old flame and agrees to a date. Derek hatches a plan for Malcolm to retrieve his belongings from his old family house, so Malcolm invites Gemma’s new man along.

Malcolm throws Gemma a baby shower, and Derek surprises Malcolm with a birthday present. Xander discovers Gemma in labour, whilst Malcolm and Derek are locked in an escape room.
