Season 2

The second term at Uranohoshi Girls' High School has started. The members of Aqours have renewed their determination to keep their school alive. However, some sudden bad news brings their spirits down.

Despite what Mari's father told her previously, he's giving them a second chance to keep their school alive under the condition that they'll get more prospective students by the end of the year.

Just when the members of Aqours are re-energized and working hard to perform both in the Love Live qualifiers and the school open house, they receive more bad news.

Dia realizes that Kanan and Mari seem to have gotten closer to the other members of Aqours while she hasn't, and starts wishing that they would call her "Dia-chan."

Yoshiko finds a dog, but she cannot keep the dog herself because she lives in a condo. So she asks Riko to keep the dog until she finds a permanent home for the dog.

In preparation for the Love Live regional prelims, Mari and Dia suggest to Kanan that Aqours use the formation that the three of them came up with two years ago.

After finishing the performance at the Love Live regional prelims, the members of Aqours now face the results. Will they proceed to the final round? Can they save their school?

Aqours has been invited to the Hokkaido regional prelims. When Chika and the others stop by at Saint Snow's dressing room before their performance, Sarah says that she'll see them again in the final round.

With Yoshiko and Hanamaru's support, Ruby and Leah create a song dedicated to their sisters in order to show them that they'll be okay without them after they graduate.

Now that their school life is coming to an end, Kanan, Dia, and Mari decide to go search for a shooting star like they did when they were kids.

With the school closure approaching, the students at Uranohoshi Girls' High School hold a school closing festival to show their love and appreciation for their school.

The day before the Love Live finals, the members of Aqours head out to Tokyo to perform for the last time. Will they be victorious?

On the day of the graduation and school closing ceremony, Chika and the others are determined to say goodbye to their school without tears.
